The Eighth annual SPLASH motorcycle riding adventure - Photos Page 4

Here's our contribution to the Canadian Buell Fleet. Three models are represented here; Buell S3, Buell X1 and Buell XB9R

After beefing up the economy at the small town on the shore of the Columbia River for lunch, we sped off to connect up with those serpentine roads meandering back toward St. Helens.

We were lucky this trip. There weren't any mishaps, get offs or otherwise time consuming side-of-the-road fixes. Well, that is except for a minor one. Don noticed a broken hose clamp on his muffler. But in a true WWBD moment, he quickly remedied the situation with a spare part!
We were off and running again in minutes.

Mount St. Helens - a mind blowing mountain! A nice mixture of motorcycles, all the fun bikes are represented.

And so ends another great motorcycle trip! Saturday night was great fun back at the motel. Deb and I floated in the lake to cool down after our fun day on the road. We had a Pizza Party in the motel parking lot. Fun by the slice!

Sunday morning we met for breakfast then said good bye, until next ride!

The lucky few of us got to ride the mountain once more on our way North. After refreshing back at Bob and Deb's we went to visit Duane and Lisa's new place.

The other Canadians heading north came with us for a great supper with Duane & Lisa. Awesome meal! Actually each meal we shared with friends was indeed a treat.

So once again, I'd like to thank everyone for their hospitality and generosity. We always enjoy visiting and riding with this great group of friends.

THANK YOU EVERYONE!!!

A beautiful view of Mount St. Helens - our beloved volcano is always a blast to ride around!
Truck-cam view of the Canadian's recon trip to Duane & Lisa's. Buells were dominant for the Canadian riders. But Funjimmy's RC51 has an honorary place in the pack.
These photos were taken from the back of Deb's truck. Much more fun to ride!

It's not an adventure without the odd "Oops" factor in the mix. Here's why you shouldn't hang your jacket over your hot motorcycle...

Gotta have an
Just a little mother's spit to help remove the melted on debris. Here's the culprit! Not exactly the nicest way to add venting to your wardrobe!

That's it folks! We look forward to Border Raid 2005 on the Labour Day weekend... see you there!
